Ideally, I would be doing more exercise. I’d like to do some kind interval training – run, jog, walk – but my calves won’t allow me. They begin to hurt whenever I run more than a small amount. I’ve tried physical therapy, stretching, insoles and the Graston technique. Graston helped, but the problem still flares up. I’m looking into “barefoot running” techniques and I just met a very impressive osteopath named Lisa Preston who says she may be able to help with my Chronic Calf Pain. She works with David Johnston, DO in Ridgefield, CT who several of my patients rave about. I’m trying to find a time to get up to Ridgefield.
